Wedding: Sam + Ben // Asheville Wedding Photographer

Sam & Ben’s wedding was, in a word… intense.  It still seems surreal that we were able to be there for this magical event.  With Ben being a professional musician, and with Sam’s impeccable taste, we knew this day was going to be stunning.   It was a gorgeous day on the hills of the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina.  16 hours of driving = absolutely worth it for a celebration like this.  We truly hope you enjoy these photos and that they portray just how phenomenal of an event it was.

Wedding Design & Arrangement:

Family: The Zerega Family // New York City Portrait Photographer

I think I lost 10 pounds on this shoot.  The Zerega Family was so much fun and full of energy, and ready to run all over Manhattan!  We started at their old brownstone, headed to central park, and finished up at a subway station.  It was such a great time meeting them and getting to spend a few hours with them in a city they know so well.  They had requested an urban-photojournalistic feel with some of the inspiration shots they had sent me, so this session has a completely different feel to it.  I hope you like it!

Engagement: Merri + Pete // Brooklyn, NY Engagement Photographer

It was a freezing cold (for us Florida kids) and windy morning on the Brooklyn Bridge, but that didn’t stop us from having a fantastic time with Merri & Pete.  We met them for the first time at the beginning of the shoot, but by the end we considered them way more than just clients! I really don’t know how we get so lucky with all of these charming people we get to meet, but I am so thankful! Merri also brought her twin sister Liz along, who helped us so much with our daughter Saylor since our childcare fell through at the last minute!  If you’ve had a photo session with us before, you know I love to keep moving and changing locations… but this one almost wore me out!  The Brooklyn Bridge, The Brooklyn Bridge Park, a local coffee shop, the subway, and the church where Pete’s parents were married… combined with the fact that Merri & Pete walk at a NY pace, contributed to my weight loss on this trip to the Big Apple! It was an amazing day, and we are so glad we made the trek to all of the locations!  We hope you’ll take a look at this work and agree that it was worth it!

Love: Natalie + Josh // Tallahassee Portrait Photographer

For this session, we loaded up into Josh’s SUV and headed west of Quincy, Florida, to their family farm.  What gorgeous land, and what gorgeous models!  We had a fantastic laid-back session with them, and we hope you enjoy taking a peek at this work of ours!

Wedding: Angie + Mike // Tallahassee Wedding Photographer

One of the best perks of this job is that you get to make so many new friends.  When Angie & Mike first met with us to discuss their intimate March wedding, we hit it off right away… and we now consider them good friends!  Because of how small the ceremony was (So small we had to sign the marriage license!) it felt even more special.  We were blessed to have been a part of such an important moment in their lives.
